The ultimate family adventure returns to Culpeper County this October along with fan favorites, the "Sea Harrier Jump Jet" and the historic "Potomac Flight"

CULPEPER, Va. - Aug. 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Culpeper Air Fest, "The Best Little Air Show in the East" will return for it’s 16th annual airshow held on October 10th, 2015 at Culpeper Regional Airport with a heart-pounding lineup of performances and entertainment for the whole family.

Don't miss the rare chance to see the world’s ONLY civilian-owned Harrier Jump Jet, otherwise known as an F/A 2 Sea Harrier.  This amazing aircraft will keep fans on the edge of their seats as it returns to the skies of Culpeper County. This unique aircraft is capable of vertical takeoffs and landings, providing the U.S. Marine Corps with mobility, flexibility and firepower. The Harrier will be flown by former Marine Corps aviator and graduate of the USAF Test Pilot School, Lt. Col Art Nalls USMC (retired).

Adding to the Harrier’s thrills you can expect to see historic warbirds, vintage aircraft, aerobatic performances.  The Bealeton Flying Circus along with their spectacular wing-walking event will leave you breathless.  See the FARM Club and their unique radio-controlled model airplanes. The B-25 Mitchell Bomber “Panchito”, Andrew McKenna’s P-51 “Pamela Marie”, Astronaut Joe Edwards T-28, Scott Francis MX, ChefPitts andKevin Russo with his powerful T-6 as well as others will be sure to excite and inspire with their afternoon performances. The spectacular warbirds based at Culpeper, including the Percival Provost - a Royal Air Force trainer and other magnificently restored military aircraft of the Commemorative Air Force's museum, will also be on display.

Food & drinks will be available from various vendors, including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, pizza and more.
