Afrolistics presents annual Back to School Give Away 8/22/15

PRLog -- Business owner and barber, Angelo Richardson will be hosting a Back to School Give Away at his Glen Burnie shop on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 9am – 5pm. During this time, patrons are encouraged to bring in their school-aged children to pick up a few needed supplies as they settle in the barber’s chair for their styles, cuts, and trims.
All the way up until, Friday August 21, the shop will accept donations from supporters who will contribute school supplies, hygiene items, snack items and even monetary contributions for the cause. Contributors are asked to bring donations to the shop during regular business hours.
Angelo “SuperStarBarber”
affectionately called “G-lo” by some, has been cutting and styling hair professionally for over 25 years. It is his loyal clients of all ages, who have ultimately dubbed him with his “Super Star” status after creating and designing styles that have been featured on runways, in magazines and hair shows all across the nation. His Glen Burnie shop, Afrolistics has become a fellowship hub for his clientele, several who the business owner has taken under his wing as mentees or “little brothers.” Among those mentees include Phillip Curry, a model and actor who connected with Richardson during a radio broadcast where the two initially met. Curry’s brand, Phillionaires, is one of the sponsors of this year’s back to school event hosted by Afrolistics. Curry will be one of the attendees at the event on August 22 and will be available to take photographs with guests.
