CHARLESTON, S.C. - Aug. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- School is back in session.  While students are hitting the books, some couples are as well as they struggle with all of the complex issues surrounding infertility.  Dr. Stephanie Singleton of The Fertility Center of Charleston (TFCofC) helps break down the ABC’s of Infertility for those that may need help starting a family.

A-  Always ask questions.  “A patient should feel comfortable asking any questions they have when starting this process,” states Dr. Singleton.  If a couple has been unsuccessful conceiving after 6 months, and the female is over the age of 35, it is time to schedule a consult with a fertility specialist.  TFCofC provides free semen analysis kits in local OB/GYN offices for patients considering infertility treatment.

B-  Be open minded about cost.  We have numerous affordable financial plans and more insurance plans are covering a portion of or all of the infertility treatment.  Over the past year, TFCofC saved patients more than $100,000 in medication costs in 2014.

C-   Call and schedule a FREE second opinion visit.   The Fertility Center of Charleston offers free second opinion consults for couples considering fertility treatments. Our patients see the same physician, Dr. Stephanie Singleton, throughout the treatment process.

The Fertility Center of Charleston provides highly individualized care and compassion for couples.   To learn more, log onto www.fertilitycharleston.com.  To schedule a free second opinion consult appointment, call 843-881-7400.
