Relax With The Smooth Sounds Of Michael Egleton, Putting The Heart Into Jazz!

AKRON, Ohio - Aug. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- Michael Egleton has found the ingredients for the recipe that sets him apart from other jazz artists. With his determination, talent and drive he is making a serious digital imprint for himself. It’s not difficult for jazz on the smoother side of the genre spectrum to easily become background music, drifting into places like lobbies and elevators without an engaged listener in sight. However, despite similar instrumentation and tempos that at times are in the vein of smooth jazz, composer and singer Michael Egleton has managed to escape that trap and create music at the intersection of jazz, soul and blues that, while relaxing and straight ahead, is full of complex arrangements, heartfelt lyrics, and vocals so powerful that engaging listeners will certainly not be a problem.

On July 16th, 2014, Michael released his 4th studio album, A Look Into My Heart, guided by the philosophy that “you have to give a piece of you to touch someone else.” It should come as no surprise to anyone who knows him that this thought inspired Michael to give us a piece of him with A Look Into My Heart, a 13 track record comprised of memorable melodies as well as a wealth of insight into Michael’s perspectives on issues surrounding love. From the tongue in cheek and motivating to the consoling and questioning, this album has music for everyone who’s ever loved before.

Now he’s about to release his next life experience project, That’s Alright “The Rewind “. Why “The Rewind” you might ask? It’s because his first and only release with a label, That’s Alright released with the Tate Music Group was something he felt he didn’t do his best. After much to do with his thoughts on this earlier project, and more experience as a solo artist, he felt that he could improve greatly on every aspect of this release. He is one to always want to give his best to the listener and this was a project where he felt he hadn’t reached his inner most abilities at.

All tracks for this project were replayed, mixed and mastered by the same team that brought you his award winning CD, A Look Into My Heart, Mr Samuel Haygood of N-DA-Groove Productions and  Mr Wes McCraw, Creekside Audio, Norton, Ohio with a little extra help from up and coming producer’s, Mr. Derick Gelisspie of his home town of Akron, Ohio and Mr. Kevin Taylor Jr, aka KT Beats of Atlanta, GA who was also part writer of the song Playing A Game on the project,  A Look Into My Heart.
