Amitabh Bachchan’s #SaluteSelfie Gets Twitter Rolling!

DELHI, India - Aug. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- While the entire nation is preparing to celebrate the nation’s 69^th Independence Day, Amitabh Bachchan has step forward to pay his tribute to the Veer Jawaans of our country by posting several pictures and posts under the trending hash tag #SaluteSelfie; a Reliance Group initiative in Twitter.

The Superstar has already posted quite a few tweets wherein he bestowed his tribute to the Indian army. One of them said, “We salute our brave Armed Forces #SaluteSelfie … a small tribute  ... A few lines from my Father ..!!” as he included a few lined from his father Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s poem, “#SaluteSelfie  ... salaam un vir jawaanon ke prati .. poojya Babuji ke shabdon mein ..!” and “#SaluteSelfie .. In respect and in honour for our brave ‘Jawaans’ .. a few lines from my Father HRB’s poem !”

The #SalutSelfie trend was initiated by the Reliance Group when they posted a video in Twitter, which encouraged everyone to share their selfies saluting the Indian soldiers and their relentless effort to protect us with their sacrifices; Mr. Amitabh Bachchan being one of the first to take part in this Twitter movement.
