ASIS Boats expands its SOLAS certified boats’ range

JEBEL ALI, UAE - Aug. 9, 2015 - PRLog -- This Rescue Boat is meant to act as a man-over-board recovery boat and to supply a marshaling vessel for life rafts in the event of abandoning the mother ship.

The ASIS range of rescue boats have been proven internationally for its reliability, performance and rigidness. Like all ASIS boats, the rescue boats are built to the highest standards and have earned the SOLAS certificate.

One of the few SOLAS certified RIB Boat manufacturers in the world, these 2 SOLAS approved Rescue boats are a new addition to the ASIS SOLAS RIB range already available.

They are equipped with a single point lifting system, allowing the boat to be lifted and dropped easily and safely from the center of gravity of the boat through the system and the Henriksen hook.

The boat is fitted with a comfortable jockey console integrating a proper steering and full remote for the engine(s). It is equipped with a stretcher and a first medical kit.

The boat is fitted with 110 liters built in Stainless steel fuel tank, allowing them to endure at least 4 hours and can provide a full, high performance rescue capability whilst carrying up to six people.

They supplied Rigid Inflatable Boats are equipped with single 90 hp two stroke engine, other propulsion options are available as long as they are MED approved.

The boat holds approvals from many national maritime authorities and is totally approved per SOLAS/IMO regulations.
