Diana Cercy,Owner Artistic Reflections, Gainesville To Do Workshops for Nonprofit Threads for Teens

GAINESVILLE, Va. - Aug. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Local Gainesville, coach, artist and business owner Diana Cercy has been selected to conduct four creative self-esteem workshops for the national nonprofit Threads for Teens during their national tour this month.

Cercy is offering the workshops as a Certified Vision Board Coach from The Vision Board Institute. Diana will guide more than 100 disadvantaged teen girls in creating vision board journals and developing life goals as part of Threads For Teens cross-country campaign.

Diana is the owner of Artistic Reflections, a local art business in Gainesville, VA. She creates one of a kind hand painted glassware and mixed media art which she sells through word of mouth, at a local gift boutique in Haymarket, VA, called Details, and at various local events.

Sharing Artwork through Community Outreach

The Threads for Teens tour is an example of how passionate Diana is about sharing her art with community outreach programs. She has created and shared Art Camps and Art Enrichment Classes with children in the local area, and she has created and painted community murals in a performance center, a homeless shelter, and in a community in Chiquimula, Guatemala while on a mission trip.

Seeing how people were positively affected by art, led Diana to want to continue touching lives in a positive way.  In 2012, she got her Art4Healing® Certification, and in 2015, she got her Certification as a Vision Board Coach. She will be offering workshops to allow participants to heal, to be empowered, and to reach for their dreams.
