Ascensus Appoints New Regional Vice President

DRESHER, Pa. - Aug. 6, 2015 - PRLog -- Ascensus, the nation’s largest independent retirement plan and college savings services provider, announced that it has appointed Dean Peterson as a regional vice president.

In this role, Mr. Peterson will work with financial professionals, third-party administrators, and financial institutions—including outsourcing partners and DCIO (defined contribution investment only) wholesalers—to build and maintain Ascensus’ key relationships throughout the Mid-America region.

Throughout his career, Mr. Peterson has helped clients meet their objectives and benefit goals through his extensive product knowledge, deep understanding of ERISA, and effective use of plan design elements.

Prior to joining Ascensus, Mr. Peterson served as a regional retirement sales representative at Paychex for a total of 15 years, where he sold both payroll and retirement plan services to employers.

Mr. Peterson earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He also holds his Series 6 and 63 FINRA designations and is an Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant.
