Rocket Harley-Davidson® Hosts Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 5th Annual Poker Run

MADISON, Ala. - Aug. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Rocket Harley-Davidson is hosting the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association (CVMA) Chapter 28-2 Poker Run on Aug. 15. Proceeds from the run will be used to provide uniforms for local band students in Madison County.

Rocket Harley-Davidson will have registration open at 9 a.m. on Aug. 15. The cost to participate is $15 per hand and $10 per rider or additional hand. The run will begin at Rocket Harley-Davidson and the first bike will leave at 10 a.m. The last bike must return by 3 p.m. The first stop in the run is Champion Powersports, followed by Natchez Trace Harley-Davidson, and the third stop will be at AK Customs. There will be a celebration at Rocket Harley-Davidson at the end of the ride, where prizes will be awarded for best and worst poker hand. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, and food and drinks will be available. A live performance from Steel Outlaw, a local southern rock band performing hits from the 1970s to today will take the stage at 2 p.m.

The CVMA is an association of combat veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride motorcycles. Chapter 28-2 works to support communication and camaraderie between veteran organizations, other motorcycle organizations and motorcycle groups in North Alabama. The CVMA also works to promote interest in various forms of motorcycle activity associated with veterans.
