Once you taste the decadent Lobster Tail Dinner, you won’t be able to imagine a week without it. Wednesdays offer the chance to dine on three small plates for $24. With a choice of one hot, one cold, and one specialty plate, you can mix and match your favorites for exciting new combinations each time you dine. Try a Caprese Salad with fresh mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes and balsamic glaze or Eggplant Caponata with tomatoes, red onions and olive oil for your cold plate option. Hot plates include choices such as Ahi Tuna with an avocado salad and a Beef Taco with salsa and pickled onion. For the specialty plates, treat yourself to Chicken Breast Saltimbocca with prosciutto, sage and hazelnuts or Pan-Roasted Alaskan Halibut with a soy-honey glaze. Small plate selections change weekly. Thursdays let you feast on a pound-and-a- Fridays round out the week in style with an extensive Italian buffet for $28, or $12 for children 10 and under. Enjoy a wide variety of antipasto, salads and entrees, and build your own blend of pasta sauce and add-on ingredients. Choose from options such as Marinated Olives, Grilled Marinated Portobello Mushrooms, Shrimp and Artichoke Salad, Roasted Cod and Planked Norwegian Salmon, just to name a few. Top off the evening with a delightful dessert from a special menu, including Tiramisu with Chocolate Espresso Sauce or the lighter option of Sorbet. In addition to a week full of delicious specials featuring varying cuisines, there will be a different set of live music each night. Enjoy a variety of Motown, R & B, pop and rock songs from Midnight Sun on Tuesday evenings or stop by Wednesday night for a unique blend of Flamenco music incorporating Spanish classical guitar and Latin percussion from Spanish Guitar Trio featuring David Chiriboga. Thursday evenings present Robert Solone with a guest vocalist, featuring a richly-textured selection of show tunes, pop songs, original compositions, classical works, jazz and blues. Round off the weekend Friday night with Ken Haebich, Redd Holt and Friends, where legendary drummer Redd Holt and bassist Ken Haebich play lively jazz with a variety of sensational Chicago pianists. Maxwell’s at the Club’s nightly specials are guaranteed to satisfy diners of all pallets, no matter what night you choose to come in. Maxwell’s is open to the public and makes for the ideal setting for date night, family night, and every night in between.
