Pomme Creek Golf Course Reopens after Flooding Recedes in Arnold

ARNOLD, Mo. - Aug. 5, 2015 - PRLog -- Arnold, Missouri… Pomme Creek, the 18-hole public golf course in Arnold, Missouri, is now open for play after flooding in June damaged several putting greens. In addition, the course will reopen for 18 holes of Soccer Golf on Friday, August 7.

“We are now open for 18 holes of great golf after minor flooding temporarily closed us down,” said Susie Boone, parks and recreation director for the City of Arnold, which operates Pomme Creek.

“We are discounting our rates to $20 per player including a cart, and $18 for seniors, until reseeding is fully complete. Five of our 18 holes have temporary greens as we complete the restoration process. We sincerely thank all of our golfers for their patience in recent weeks,” Boone said.

“Starting Friday, August 7 we will be open for 18 holes of Soccer Golf for $10 per person, and we look forward to seeing all the kids and families that love playing Soccer Golf at Pomme Creek,” said Tim Schwierjohn, Pomme Creek golf superintendent.

“We are very happy to return to our regular schedule of fun activities at the course,” Schwierjohn said.

Pomme Creek is a beautiful, 5,580-yard, par 70 course situated on rolling hills with small lakes and creeks at One Golfview Drive in Arnold about 20 miles southwest of St. Louis. Pomme Creek amenities include:
