Follow on Google News | Action for Sick Children Supporters Set To Dash for CashBy: Action for Sick Children The building society has arranged for tokens to be published in the Stockport paper’s August 12th to September 2nd editions which purchasers can then pass onto the charity of their choice. Charities with the highest percentage of tokens can claim the highest percentage of the charity pot. “We would love our supporters to buy a copy of the Stockport Express within these dates and pass on to us the Jubilee Fund tokens,” said Action for Sick Children’s chief executive Val Jackson, speaking from the charity’s High Lane, Stockport HQ. “This is a dash for cash but it comes at a time when Action for Sick Children is busy working on expanding our Dental Play box project which uses fun, laughter, games and puppets to teach youngsters the basics in caring for the health of their teeth,” she added. “So a share of the Jubilee Fund would be a blessing for us and for those with whom we work to help.” Tokens can be dropped in at Vernon Building Society branches in Stockport, Reddish, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Poynton and Marple before Wednesday September 16th.
