BROOKFIELD, Wis. - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Following on the heels of a record-breaking event in 2014, the GMAC Golf Outing marks its 10th year Aug. 21, as participants will again tee off to benefit two charities at Ironwood Golf Course.

Grounds Maintenance Services and ActionCOACH of Elm Grove lead the golf event, which raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin. The 2014 GMAC outing drew more than 220 participants and generated a record $20,000 for the two organizations.

Shotgun start is at 10 a.m. at Ironwood Golf Course, W270-N6166 Moraine Drive, Sussex.

“This event has grown every year, and it’s hard to believe we’re celebrating our 10th outing,” said Todd Ruedt, owner of Grounds Maintenance Services. “Our continued success and, most importantly, all the money we’ve raised for charity, is due to the many sponsors, prize donors and everyone who participates. This year will be our biggest event yet to raise money for two great causes.”

The popular “Best-Dressed Golfer” contest for men and women will return, along with myriad other opportunities for participants to win prizes on and off the course.

The cost per golfer (https://events.r20.constantcontact.com/register/eventReg?...) is once again $125. The fee includes 18 holes, range access, drink tickets, lunch, buffet dinner, and silent and live auctions. A dinner-and-auctions package is available for $40.

Numerous event sponsorships are available, starting at $250, for businesses and organizations to participate. Silent auction items are also welcomed. Call (262) 784-8219, ext. 6522, for details.
