MBA President & CEO David H. Stevens Makes Surprise Visit to radius financial group inc

NORWELL, Mass. - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- radius financial group inc. hosted a very special guest on Thursday, July 30, 2015 when Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) President and CEO, David Stevens paid a visit to present and discuss the current trends within the mortgage banking industry.

When MBA President and CEO David Stevens stepped foot into radius financial group inc.’s Norwell, MA office, all hands were on deck. Stevens, a seasoned veteran with 30 years of experience in mortgage finance, came to Norwell to share his insights on the current state of the mortgage banking industry with the entire radius team.

“It was so great to finally visit radius’ Norwell, MA office and present some of my insights within the industry,” said Stevens, MBA President and CEO. “Keith (radius financial group inc.’s Principal and COO) and I have known each other a long time and have a great friendship. Being able to share my analysis on the current trends in mortgage banking with his team was an honor and a pleasure.”

Steven’s kicked-off his presentation by proclaiming the seismic shift to a purchase-dominated market and explained that home equity has returned to pre-recession levels. Steven’s also stated that Independent Mortgage Bankers (IMBs) are gaining more market share than ever before with the rise in millennials purchasing mortgages as first time homebuyers.

Also discussed were Steven’s views on ways to change the lending tone from a “dialogue of distrust” to a “dialogue of confidence.” He later explained that it is now time to fix the rules  to allow for innovative, sustainable and safe lending, and end the relentless enforcement regimes.

Before wrapping up his presentation, Stevens announced that he and the rest of the Mortgage Banking Association were so impressed and excited with radius’ story that MBA Magazine would be highlighting radius financial group inc. as a feature story in an issue later this year.
