LAS VEGAS - Aug. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Cyber Risk Management specialist and business owner Mack Jackson Jr. is hosting a new show at the World Center of Broadcast Media. Technology Review
highlights one of the fastest growing crimes in the 21st century, identity theft. During the show’s four segments, Jackson also interviews experts in his industry, talks about alternative energy technologies and reviews the latest technological gadgets.

“I had been doing a radio broadcast of Technology Review at KLAV 1230 AM for about a year and they decided to change their program format,” Jackson said. “I started working with Gene and Roxy at WCOBM a couple of months ago because I feel that Internet streaming is an excellent format to get the message out about identity theft. I am currently a member of the National Speakers Association and I enjoy being in front of an audience.”

Jackson is the Owner of MJ Computer Concepts and an expert in Internet security and cybercrime. His business was recently been featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal and Black Entrepreneur Magazine.

“The problem with the public is that they see identity theft as something that doesn’t happen too often, so they don’t worry about it,” Jackson said. “Identity theft happens more than you think. Hackers are like peeping Toms. You can’t tell they’re looking at your computer systems or keystrokes. Before you know it, they can have all of your passwords.”

Technology Review is a platform for people to be educated about ways to prevent cybercrimes and identity theft.

“We talk about ways to protect yourself against cybercriminals,” Jackson said.  “Social media users should never share their social security number including the last four digits, birthdate, home address or phone number. People should also be cautious of free Wi-Fi hotspots because that is an environment where hackers thrive. You should also protect your passwords, PIN numbers, bank accounts and credit card information.”

In addition to his extensive background in cybersecurity, Jackson also received a degree in law and is a member of the Association of Information Technology Professionals.

Jackson has received a lot of positive feedback about Technology Review so far.

“My objective with the show is to reach as many people as I possibly can to help them protect themselves against identity theft,” he said.
