Mobile Monday Detroit to Showcase Apps from Michigan Firms

DETROIT - Aug. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Interested in seeing some of the great app technology being developed and/or used by Michigan firms? Now is your chance! Mobile Monday Detroit is providing an opportunity for 6 Michigan firms to present their apps at the August 10^th Mobile Monday Detroit event at TechTown, located at 440 Burroughs Street, Detroit, MI. The event will begin at 6:00 p.m. with app presentations starting at 6:30.

Each presenter will have 10 minutes to showcase their app to our audience and all presentations will include answering MoMoDetroit provided questions that will help the audience gain a clear understanding about the app, what it does, why it was developed, and how well it’s working for those who use it. After the presentations are completed, the audience will have an opportunity to network with the presenters, try out the apps and ask any questions they may have. There will be multiple demonstration stations setup where attendees may try out the Oculus Rift virtual reality apps for themselves.

Presenters at this Mobile Monday Detroit event are all members of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM) and range from students to well-established firms with national contracts for their services. They’re an excellent representation of the wide range of ways mobile/wireless technologies are being used today.

The event is sponsored by the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan (MTAM) and TechTown (http://techtowndetroit.org) who will also be sponsoring refreshments for the event. Attendance at Mobile Monday Detroit is FREE, but advance registration at http://meetup.com/Mobile-Monday-Detroit is required due to space limitations. If registrations reach capacity, a waiting list will be available in case of any cancellations. Parking is available at no charge in two TechTown lots.
