Toyota Announces Prices of New Special Edition Models

BURNS HARBOR, Ind. - Aug. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Lake Shore Toyota is excited for the 2016 Camry Special Edition and 2016 Corolla Special Edition, and Toyota has just announced the full details of these upcoming models, including their affordable price points. Both Special Edition models will be arriving at Lake Shore Toyota in August.

The 2016 Toyota Camry Special Edition will be priced at $25,715 (MSRP) and limited to 12,000 units. Toyota designers rebuilt the Camry from the ground up, updating or redesigning nearly 2,000 parts – only the roof remains the same. Hailed as the boldest Camry ever built, this model will include sport fabric seating with blue inserts and contrast stitching as well as dark blue interior trim, with exterior color options in Blizzard Pearl or Blue Streak Metallic.

Tech features on the Camry SE include:
* Unique gauge cluster with thin-film transistor display
* Entune Audio Plus
* Navigation system
* Qi-compatible wireless charging

Each Camry SE features a 2.5L four-cylinder engine paired to a six-speed automatic transmission.

The 2016 Corolla Special Edition is priced at $20,635 (MSRP) and limited to 8,000 units. Performance enhancing upgrades like steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, a Sport driving mode, and rear disc brakes give the Corolla a look and feel that screams “track ready.”

The Corolla interior will be accented in red, with contrast stitching on the seating, steering wheel, and shift knob. Exterior color options include Super White, Black Sand Pearl, and Absolutely Red.

* Special Edition floor mats

Drivers will be able to upgrade for features like Toyota Entune Premium Audio, Navigation, and a power tilt/slide moonroof. The inner workings of the Corolla SE are based on the Corolla S Plus upgrade, including its 1.8L four-cylinder engine with 132 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque.
