GN Vertical Mud Tanks for Helicopter Transportation

HOUSTON - July 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Normally, the mud tanks are designed and made as rectangular shaped, like containers, and they are laid one by one, in a line or in a layout near the drilling rigs. And, they are transported by trucks or trailers.

But recently, GN has produced per customer’s special request because of the jobsite condition a new kind of tanks, the vertical tanks for mud storage (http://www.gnsolidscontrol.com/mud-tank/). This shape of tanks enables them to be transported to working jobsite by helicopters.

It is the fact that many oil and gas jobsites are remote from the road, some in the forest or deserts, there being no highway or even road to arrive there, and all equipments and living necessaries are transported by helicopter also.
