ProChem Customers' Water Reuse Volumes

ProChem, Inc. industrial water reuse customers reuse an impressive amount of water per month.

ROANOKE, Va. - July 29, 2015 - PRLog -- ProChem industrial water reuse systems offer reliable and effective purification of process wastewater so that it can be recycled back into the plant.  ProChem’s industrial water reuse customers are making a huge contribution to the cause for water conservation in the U.S. They are reusing wastewater that was previously discharged into the sewer system for treatment at a public treatment facility. As the facilities use the water and discharge it, they need fresh water to replace the wastewater they discharged. Based on the volume of water these facilities use, hundreds of thousands of gallons of water were being consumed at their plant per day. This cycle consumes a lot of water that would otherwise be clean and ready for their community.

ProChem became curious about just how many gallons of water per month their customers were now reusing. So, they did the math. The numbers are in, and ProChem is proud to announce its stats.

Their water reuse customers are reusing a staggering 15,075,000 gallons of water per month.

Think about that number this way:

The average American home uses 9,000 gallons of water per month.* That means our customers are reusing per month the same amount of water that is required by 1,675 homes!

And they are just getting started. New industrial water reuse customers are starting up soon, and their results will be tallied up soon too.

*Based on 3 person home using 100gpd/person.

ProChem’s water reuse customers are located all across the United States. They manufacture various goods in a wide range of industries such as automotive parts manufacturing, building materials manufacturing, electro coating paint booths in automotive assembly plants, heavy duty equipment manufacturing, and more. They are experiencing 85% to 95%+ reuse rates at these locations and saving millions of dollars on water purchases and discharge related expenses, compliance infractions, and even equipment maintenance and service. The quality of the recycled water is so high that their process equipment is actually performing better and has allowed some plants to even increase their production quotas.

The secret to these successes is the technology used in their industrial wastewater reuse system. These systems utilize:

·  ProChem’s physical/chemical treatment program that was designed specifically for their plant in order to yield the best possible water for their system and facility.

·  ProChem’s industrial high pressure reverse osmosis (IHPRO™) technology. This technology is an improvement upon traditional reverse osmosis equipment with the addition of high pressure (up to 1,200 psi, in fact). This allows the equipment to handle much higher TDS levels than traditional ROs and still yield an impressive reuse rate with water pure enough for the electronics industry.

With a small footprint and flexible design, both skid-mounted and available in a container for outdoor systems, ProChem’s industrial water reuse systems with IHPRO™ are the most practical option on the market. How much water could you reuse?
