Extra Care Development Begins In Bedford

BEDFORDSHIRE, U.K. - July 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Designed and project managed by NorthStar, construction has begun on 42 self-contained Extra Care apartments that will enable residents to maintain their independence whilst benefitting from the facilities on offer at the now complete phase one 72 bed care home.

A clubhouse building is intended to act as a ‘fulcrum’ between the phase one care home and the phase two apartments, providing facilities for both groups of residents.  This concept ensures residents have a wide range of services available on site, including gym, snoezelen, hairdressing salon, and gardens.
