West Coast US Distribution and Manufacturing Centers Growth Great for Hytrol Conveyor

July 30, 2015 - PRLog -- Amway opened its new $42 million nutrition manufacturing and R&D facility in Buena Park, CA. According to company officials, the 60,000-square-foot manufacturing facility will house select manufacturing operations for the company's Nutrilite brand of vitamins, minerals, and dietary supplements, sold exclusively by Amway Business Owners. The R&D facility will focus on quality assurance activities as well as research efforts for the nutrition brand.

Tire’s Warehouse Inc. is opening of a distribution center in Union City, CA, on June 15. The location is the sixth warehouse in California for Tire’s Warehouse Inc. The new distribution center will service customers from the coast through the east bay and from Sacramento to Fresno. Launching in two phases, the distribution center will have a total combined warehouse space of 128,000 square-feet.

Specialty foods distributor United Natural Foods, Inc. will open a distribution center in Gilroy, CA in August. The 450,000 square foot Gilroy facility marks a step further in United Natural’s initiative to expand its market reach to the Bay Area and further enhance its existing distribution network in California. The company already has two distribution facilities in Rocklin and Moreno Valley in California. The new distribution center will not only enhance distribution efficiencies, lower operating costs, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions; it will also bring approximately 500 new jobs to the local community.
