Establishing extraordinary Thought Leadership in Technology and Entrepreneurial Education, Shelon Douglas is excited to announce the launch of the six-week intensive program, CodeTechIQ, premiering July 7th and running until August 15th, 2015. Founder and CEO, Douglas is proud to partner alongside the Los Angeles Southwest College Foundation for this distinctive summer Code Camp for South Los Angeles College and High School students. Douglas truly considers it a privilege to give back to the community working with Daniel Tabor, Executive Director of the LA Southwest College Foundation. Both Douglas and Tabor are honored to serve on the planning committee for Startup Weekend SoLA.

CodeTechIQ is the first of it’s kind as it provides an in-depth learning opportunity for High School and College students to be introduced to the “power” of solving meaningful problems and launching a business through Web Development and Design. Adding to its distinction, completion of CodeTechIQ qualifies students to be special-invite participants in Startup Weekend SoLA this September 25-27, 2015 on the campus of Southwest College.

CodeTechIQ has a strong impact on Technology and Entrepreneurial Education as it provides:

1. Hands-on Web-Development and Design classes! Students master all fundamentals from Front and Back-End Development to WordPress and Graphic Design.

2. World-renowned teachers and an unparalleled Entrepreneurial curriculum! Classes are instructed by a team of successful industry leaders. Throughout the program, students will refine Startup business-development skills centered around: Ideation, Execution and Validation.
