Leading E-Waste Organization Now Open for Business in Winnipeg

The Electronic Recycling Association has now opened a full-service depot in Winnipeg

WINNIPEG, Manitoba - July 28, 2015 - PRLog -- The Electronic Recycling Association (ERA) is proud to announce the grand opening of a brand new location in the “gateway to the west”, Winnipeg, MB. ERA’s new depot is located at 1681 Dublin Avenue.

The ERA, a not for profit organization, has been reducing unnecessary e-waste and its adverse environmental contribution through the recovery, refurbishment and donation of electronic and IT equipment since 2004. The ERA also has locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Montreal and Toronto.

“We are excited to announce that we are now operating in this rapidly growing community. All of our services – corporate pickups, individual drop-offs, data destruction and reporting, our charitable donation, fundraising and community cleanup programs – are all now available. There is a real need in the community for this type of service, and we are looking forward to contributing to Winnipeg’s overall sustainability,” says Bojan Paduh, founder and president of ERA.

ERA believes reuse before recycling is the most viable solution for unwanted computers and related electronic equipment, and strives to ensure that operational IT equipment remains in use until its true end of life. ERA works with individuals and corporations to reuse and refurbish computers, laptops and other electronic equipment, and make valuable technology donations to local communities and throughout Manitoba.
