David Allen King II Joins UHY Advisors as Manager

ATLANTA - July 28, 2015 - PRLog -- UHY Advisors (www.uhy-us.com) today announced the appointment of David Allen King II as manager within UHY’s Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance group. He will be based in the Atlanta office, consulting on internal audit and controls as well as advising business and technology executives nationwide on cybersecurity and operational risk management initiatives. He reports to UHY Advisors managing director David Barton.

King’s professional skills and qualifications include:

●      Designing, budgeting and installing business continuity/disaster recovery infrastructures

●      Directing long-term planning and implementation of enterprise technology systems and services

●      Acting as IT liaison between Legal Compliance departments during routine SEC audits

●      Developing and implementing cybersecurity, data governance, and identity & access management remediation strategies for large clients with 10,000+ employees

●      Developing the PCI Compliance Playbook and global assessment procedures for an insurer with a worldwide presence

●      Leading the FINRA Electronic Communication audit remediation strategy for a leading Independent Broker/Dealer

Prior to joining UHY, King worked for PwC as a manager/CIO advisory, for Magnitude Capital as an IT manager and for Mariner Investment Group as a senior systems administrator. He received his Bachelor of Science in Technology from Herzing University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor by ISACA.

King lives in the Glenwood Park area of Atlanta with his wife, Dr. Bo Yung King.
