Minnetonka, MN Chiropractor Announces Free Chiropractic Care via The Patriot Project

MINNETONKA, Minn. - July 27, 2015 - PRLog -- Rejuva Medical and Wellness Center is now a proud volunteer of The Patriot Project, announced Dr. Jesse Ploessl, D.C. today.  The center is currently one of only 12 in the state of Minnesota that have chosen to offer qualifying individuals free chiropractic care to active military individuals and veterans with service related disabilities.

“We are very proud and excited to announce our partnership with The Patriot Project, says Dr. Ploessl.  “Chiropractic care is not always readily available for our service men and women. Many injuries are currently treated solely with pain medication.  We are pleased to offer an extremely effective and safe alternative to these active duty service members and veterans via The Patriot Project.” He further added, “I have personally been touched by the loss of a loved one to the war in Iraq.  When I saw this program, I immediately volunteered my time and talents to give back to those who serve to protect our freedoms.”

The Patriot Project is a grass roots movement by the chiropractic profession to assist all active military their families, wounded warriors, and Gold Star dependents with quality chiropractic care. Currently, a number of health issues are being treated using chiropractic and massage therapy. With funding, The Patriot Project will host a USO-type chiropractic care tour that will visit military bases in a number of other nations, including Iraq and Afghanistan.  www.patriot-project.org

Participating doctors like Dr. Ploessl will make time available to treat at least one armed-service member a week at no charge.   Active duty men and women as well as Veterans living in Minnetonka and its surrounding areas can now visit Rejuva Medical and Wellness Center to receive free chiropractic care.

The staff at Rejuva provides a range of treatments to its patients including chiropractic care, nutritional counseling, massage therapy, and cold laser therapy for pain.  Dr. Ploessl, along with his team help people in treating a number of health issues such as headaches, neck pain, back pain, sprains/strains, and chronic arthritis.
