CLYVE - UK Soul and R&B Artist - Performs LIVE on the GingerNewYork TV Show in New York City

NEW YORK - July 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Clyve Waite: is a Soul/Funk recording artist, who originates from Bath, UK and since 1995, has also been based in New York.  Clyve had European chart success in the 90’s, performing his chart hit “Painted Moon” in front of 20,000 at the Falles Festival, Valencia as well as making his US live debut in front of 200,000 in Washington DC in 2001. Clyve's latest single “Feels Like The First Time” is a chilled dance vibe, recorded in New York with top R&B and MTV producer Chi Salaam and it's the follow up to  “Living Our Dream” (Special Olympics Official Anthem), which was co-written with Jon Birch.

In 2013, Clyve performed at the spectacular Special Olympics Opening Ceremony in the stunning setting of the Royal Crescent, Bath, in front of an audience of over 8,000. Clyve opened the evening’s proceedings with his funky band, The Soul City Foundation, and also closed the ceremony performing the anthem “Living Our Dream” in an amazing finale. Prior to the Opening Ceremony, which also featured multi-million selling artist Susan Boyle and the award-winning jazz artist Clare Teal, Clyve performed sell out gigs at Komedia and the annual Funky Christmas Gig at Chapel Arts Center. Clyve has been featured several times on the Livvy & Chrissie Show on BBC Radio, including BBC Live Lounge performances and plans to present his own radio show “Block Party Grooves”.

In 2014, Clyve continued to perform live in front of sell out crowds and also had the honor of having "Living Our Dream” remixed in the USA by Prince’s very own DJ Larry Peace. Clyve recently recorded and released his original Christmas track “It’s Christmas” along with versions of the Joni Mitchell track “River” and a seasonal duet with Bellefleur Kate Harbour on “Baby It’s Cold Outside”

His debut soul album, The Beat Continues, is due for release in 2015 and will bring together musical influences from both cities in a fusion of vibes, beats and grooves. Clyve recently attended the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, California.
