The Naples Players To Hold Auditions for "Spinning Into Butter"

NAPLES, Fla. - July 23, 2015 - PRLog -- NAPLES, FL- The Naples Players will hold auditions for Spinning Into Butter (http://naplesplayers.org/show2.html) beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15 at Sugden Community Theatre, 701 5^th Avenue South, Naples.No appointments are necessary.

Five men are needed, three Caucasian in their 30’s-50’s and one Caucasian 18-24, and one Latin American, age 18-24. Two Caucasianwomen are also needed, one age 30-45 and one in her 50’s-60’s.

In this provocative and relevant drama, students and administration alike are forced to confront the assumptions and prejudices that lie hidden just below the surface when an African American student at Belmont College begins receiving racist hate mail. What they discover is not at all what they expected.

Rehearsals begin September 8th.  Performance dates are October 28 - November 21. Perusal scripts are available at the box office with a $20 deposit.
