GOAL SYSTEMS implements sustainable solutions in the BRT of Monterrey

MONTERREY, Mexico - July 23, 2015 - PRLog -- Goal Systems and Indra have recently signed a contract whereby our company will implement its advanced systems in the Monterrey-Ecovía BRT.

This agreement consolidates the presence of Goal Systems in Mexico, where our solutions are leaders and accompany the growth of the BRTs of the country. Furthermore, it strengthens the alliance of our company with Indra, a company we have already collaborated with in numerous projects, including the Metrobus of the capital of Mexico, where the number of licenses acquired were recently increased.

Ecovía is a project which involves the implementation of buses with the latest technology, which will travel in exclusive lanes crossing the center of the main thoroughfares of the Mexican city of Monterrey. The intermediate stations will be unique in the country as they will be equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi and renewable energies such as wind power. From the point of view of the programming of the operation, Ecovía intends to ensure the execution of schedules and services of quality with the maximum optimization using the GoalBus® tool.

This system will have 112 hybrid buses equipped with state of the art technology, which will travel a distance of 30 kilometers from the Lincoln Station in Monterrey to the Valle Soleado Station in Guadalupe, with 40 intermediate stations.
