“Lover’s Rock” Lands at Howard Theatre

WASHINGTON - July 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Thursday, July 23, 2015 Reesa Renee takes a slight detour from a successful run on the road to debut her sophomore project “Lover’s Rock” for her hometown…the DC Metro Area. After a warm Welcome which ended in a Standing Ovation at the Los Angeles, CA House of Blues, a few dates in Miami and Orlando, FL the sought after independent artist makes a pit stop home before heading to Houston, TX in order to share the new music with her home base of music enthusiasts; at The Historic Howard Theatre located 620 T St. NW, DC this Thursday, where she joins forces with three other talented artists to unleash the Next Generation of local and global Soul and R&B artists for the inaugural Neo Age Showcase sing off.  This Neo Age Showcase will also be live streamed online in order to fulfill the mission of being the driving force to introduce not only the DC Metro community, but also the nation to the next generation of Soul and R&B artists.  Each planned Neo Age Showcase donates a percentage of total ticket sales to nonprofit organizations. The July 23, 2015 experience has selected Critical Exposure and the DJ|JD Foundation as benefactors.  Reesa Renee’s latest project “Lover's Rock” EP consists of funky melodies and vibrant undertones, coupled with a lyrical message. Lover's Rock will transport listeners into a new space. About Reesa Renee:  an artist, musician, songwriter, and lyrical poet from the DC Metropolitan Area. Her voice skims through the soulful sounds of the jazz era and then fast-forwards your musical clocks to the more modern sounds of the R&B greats of today.
