5 Family Office Leaders - Aeon Hewitt, Wellesley, Eaton Vance, TerraCap & Meketa - talk Pension Fund

NEW YORK - July 29, 2015 - PRLog -- Trustees, pension representatives, real estate managers, private equity firms, venture capitalists, funds of funds, insurance and benefit companies, equity managers, hedge funds, consultants, attorneys and other professions converged at the NewPort Marriott, NewPort, Rhode Island for the Public Funds Summit East. The two and a half day annual event organized by Opal Financial Group discussed issues about financing beneficiary liabilities in an environment where returns are declining while striking a balance between reward and risk paradigms. With the summit theme “Navigate the Future”,  discussions on how surplus returns will impact on staff benefit plans as well as carefully review the processes of selecting and evaluating investment managers were held.

The summit agenda started off with an Annual Regatta Cup where attendees worked with a crew of professional sailing charter.
