Wesley Glen/Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic Sets Record

COLUMBUS, Ohio - July 22, 2015 - PRLog -- The 6th Annual Methodist ElderCare Services Wesley Glen/Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic held Monday, July 13 netted more than $121,000 for Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare and Wesley At Home. Net proceeds were the highest ever for the event and represent a 6% increase over 2014. The silent auction raised more than $6,800 and the live auction $35,500.

The charity golf tournament brought in 34 teams consisting of 136 golfers. Title Sponsors for the event were Corna Kokosing Construction Company and FirstMerit Bank.

“We are thrilled to have hosted such a successful event that provides resources for providing excellent care to Columbus-area seniors and our residents,” commented Peg Carmany, Methodist ElderCare Services CEO.  The 6th Annual MES Wesley Glen/Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic was a huge hit and we look forward to continuing with this event year after year,” she continued.
