North Philly Pride: Syreeta Scott, Celebrity Hair Expert

PHILADELPHIA - July 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Syreeta Scott, CEO of Dua-fe  (www.dua-fe.com) Hair Salon, is an entrepreneur and holistic hair expert for A-list celebrities and entrepreneurs. Scott is hosting the First Annual Community Collaborative, Saturday, August 15^th, 1:00-5:00PM, at Panati Recreation Center of Allegheny West (3100 N. 22^nd Street) in Philadelphia. The event is an offering between entrepreneurs, artists and activists with a laser mission to ignite North Philadelphia’s business owners. The day will be filled with food, games, music, speakers and vendors. The event is free and open to the public.

Armed with status as the go-to person for all things natural hair for A-listers: Janet Jackson, Ava Duvernay, The Roots ?uestLove, Smokey Robinson, Sonia Sanchez, Jill Scott and many others. This past summer, Dua-fe Hair Care relocated back to back to North Philadelphia with a mission. “My purpose for relocating and hosting the event is to inspire and motivate business owners to think strategic and integrative with the community-at-large rather than segregative, which seems to be the unfortunate pattern of gentrification throughout the city. This is a call to action to rebuild North Philadelphia from the inside out,” says Scott.
