Two Full Moon Parties to Illuminate the Shore at Georgia's LanierWorld in August

BUFORD, Ga. - July 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Sunset Cove Beach Café and Club at Georgia’s Lanier Islands has grown famous among travelers and locals alike in recent years for its beach-themed drinks and dishes, lakeside breezes and panoramic views. August 2015 brings not just one but TWO of these events, including a night that coincides with the Supermoon. Lanier Islands invites its neighbors from all over the Metro Atlanta area to experience at least one Full Moon Party during the coming month – either on Saturday, August 1 or Saturday, August 29.

Inspired by the original Full Moon Parties hosted in Key West, Florida, Sunset Cove pulls out all of the stops on entertainment from 7 to 11 p.m. These lunar-themed events are filled with food and drink specials, glow-in-the-dark gear, rockin’ live entertainment, fire breathers, jugglers, stilt walkers, dancing in the sand, beachside bonfires, supreme people watching and more. Each Full Moon Party ends with a BANG thanks to a spectacular fireworks display over the lake. The featured entertainment on the Sunset Cove Stage at the two August Full Moon Parties includes Darcy & Co. on August 1 and Hudson Road Band on August 29. August 29 also marks the advent of the Supermoon – when the moon appears the largest because it’s at the closest point to Earth in its orbit.

Admission to Full Moon Parties is included for LanierWorld Season Pass and Daily Admission Ticket holders.
