-- Greater Philadelphia region nonprofits have an opportunity to get expert advice and answers to pressing questions when The Nonprofit Center, in cooperation with the Regional Foundation Center of the Free Library of Philadelphia, host a morning of free “speed consulting” on October 7 at the library at 19th and Vine Sts.

“Instant consulting is a special program The Nonprofit Center created to assist nonprofit organizations that are wrestling with issues around leadership, strategic planning, board activities, succession planning, fundraising, finance, human resources, and so forth, that can be addressed with a conversation with a nonprofit expert,” said Center Director Laura Otten, Ph.D.  “But few consultants are set up to offer this real-time advice and most nonprofits don’t have the resources to instantly hire a consultant, “she added.    Otten said The Nonprofit Center has successfully offered this short free consulting session in Bucks and Montgomery Counties and “appreciates the support of the foundation center in bringing it to the heart of the city,” she added.  She said the center has a large team of consultants who are participating in this program for free to show their support for the nonprofit community.
