This means less panels need to be purchased, a cost savings, as well as reduced number of panels on a roof or solar farm, saving valuable real estate This work was researched and developed at a leading engineering university in Pennsylvania and a leading university in Texas, culminating after 3 years of R&D. This results in increased output of existing solar panels already installed on a roof or solar farm. It can also be used by solar panel companies during manufacturing. NanoCoat eliminates the need for a Tracking System because refraction and bending of light impinging on the coated solar panel simulates the action of the Tracking System. The coating process is simple. Just put in a standard garden sprayer, aim, and spray, as shown in the picture below.
