LOS ANGELES - July 21, 2015 - PRLog -- New television show, "Trial 2020," has gained the interest of key people in key places.

The show is an episodic drama that intersects the lives of North Americans against the federal court system in the United States. Citizen issues, some bizarre, around morality, ethics and philosophy start bubbling up in 2017, and court decisions effectively start dictating what is right and what is wrong in America. Everything reaches a head in 2020.

"Based on some of the extraordinary social developments in the United States since the 20th century, punctuated by recent court decisions and citizen behavior, America is clearly in a crisis related to cognizance of the original 'compass' used for navigating right and wrong," says creator Abraham Doe.

The program concept has the support of successful businessman Garry Fizzell who shared, "This is easily a four to five season show with potential to be a multi-million dollar success. A court drama about America's challenges defining right and wrong just could not be more timely. It is very relevant." Fizzell has built successful businesses in the industrial and entertainment sectors. "He is an immensely valuable addition to the management team. I am so proud that he would consider calling me a partner," says Doe. "To my comment, 'I cannot think of failure as an option,' Garry says 'failure is never an option'." Fizzell was recently added to the "Trial 2020" Board of Directors.

James Simmons of Bearfruit Films, Scottsdale, has signed on to produce the pilot episode. He has produced "Rumors of War (2014)," which stars Eric Roberts, T.C. Stallings, and Mac Powell of the music group 'Third Day' https://youtu.be/ptKMhOmDE7E. (https://youtu.be/ptKMhOmDE7E) "Rumors of War" airs on Netflix.

He produced "Little Savages (2015)," starring Jamie Kennedy, Katherine McNamara and Leigh-Allyn Baker. Little Savages is being distributed by Archstone http://archstonedistribution.com/film/Little-Savages.

Simmons also produced "The Griddle House (2015)," starring Luke Perry, Charisma Carpenter and Paul Rodriguez. The film is in post-production. Doe, Fizzell and other "Trial 2020" supporters are excited Simmons is on the team.

Start of production for the "Trial 2020" Pilot is planned for August 2015. Short time remains for parties interested in participating in the propelling of the pilot to indicate so at 2020@thetrial2020.com.
