MedAssets and AFS Host Military Hiring Fair & Career Coaching with over 2,000 Jobs

PLANO, Texas - July 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Americas Future Series (AFS) and MedAssets hosts the Military Hiring Fair and Career Coaching  July 22-23, 2015.  All prior and current Armed Forces Service Members and their spouses arewelcome to participate in this two day event. Over 50 top companies withjob openings specifically targeting military, military spouse and veteran jobseekers will be in attendance. Our Hiring Fairs have produced an over 20%hire rate to date. Coaching and preparation programs will be offered inadvance of the Hiring Fair day.  This event is FREE to the attendees, and registration (http://www.americas-fs.org/#!afsmedassets-hiring-fair/c1nb9) is requested.

August 2014 was the first Military Hiring Fair hosted by AFS, followed by a second one February 2015.  Results were phenomenal, with double the national placement of 18% - 20%+.  Candidates were coached and prepared for the interviews and real jobs were offered.  This Hiring Fair is anticipated to be even better as another “Coaching Day” has been added to even better prepare the candidates.  1:1 coaching will be available from various corporations and HR professionals.  Registration (http://www.americas-fs.org/#!afsmedassets-hiring-fair/c1nb9) is requested.

As thousands of active duty military return to civilian life, it is vitally important that the skills, abilities, experience and leadership these men and women have in great abundance be utilized to the fullest extent possible.  Not only are these Americans deserving of our support, they are qualified, capable and committed.  American companies need their ethics, character, drive and dedication to keep them competitive globally. No other natural resource we are blessed with can do as much good for our nation.

Over 50 leading companies with current job openings will be present at MedAssets Plano Offices, for the two-day event. The employers have commented that this Hiring Fair has not been a waste of time for them.  The agenda is as follows:

Day 1 - July 22, 2015
Senior HR Roundtable for Employers - 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Career Coaching Workshops - 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm & 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm

Day 2 - July 23, 2015 - Hiring Fair: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
