Featured films include: · WHEN THE TIME COMES (2013) - Directed by Charles Gay, this 13-minute documentary spotlights female circumcision in Kenya. · CAN’T HIDE ME (2014) – Directed by Madhuri Mohinda, this 26-minute documentary follows women in India who are fighting often invisible barriers to achieving their dreams. · AT HOME, IN BED, AND IN THE STREETS (2013) – Directed by Liz Miller, this 36-minute documentary follows Puntos de Encuentro, an inspiring Nicaraguan women's rights group. Screenwriter Ellen Gavin is scheduled to speak about the film. (Note: This film will not be shown, but attendees will be provided with a screener link to take home and view.) Artwork from local female artists - Amanda Stojanov, Judy Toretti and María del Carmen Lamadrid – will be on display following the screening. Light snacks will be provided courtesy of Seasons 52.
