Boxing Champion Mike Tyson To Attend Wizard World Comic Con Columbus, September 19-20

COLUMBUS, Ohio - July 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Mike Tyson, one of the greatest boxers of all time, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world and a pop culture phenomenon, will make his first Wizard World appearance when he attends Wizard World Comic Con Columbus on Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20. “Iron Mike,” a member of both the International Boxing Hall of Fame and the World Boxing Hall of Fame, has also appeared in more than 25 movies and television shows, notably The Hangover, Rocky Balboa and “Entourage.”

Tyson won his first 19 professional bouts by knockout, 12 of them in the first round, in the process becoming the youngest heavyweight champion of the world at age 20. His 50-6 record (2 no contests) included WBA, WBC and IBF titles.

He will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct an interactive Q&A panel at the pop culture extravaganza, Wizard World’s fifth visit to the Greater Columbus Convention Center (note that the event was formerly known as Wizard World Ohio).

Other celebrities scheduled to attend Wizard World Comic Con Columbus include David Ramsey (“Arrow”), Dave Bautista (WWE® Superstar Batista™, Guardians of the Galaxy), Emily Kinney (“The Walking Dead”), Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes), Sonequa Martin-Green (“The Walking Dead”), Karl Yune (“Arrow”), Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid) and Will Friedle (“Boy Meets World,” voice actor: “Kim Possible”).
