The Carmel Valley Fiesta in the Park Friday, July 31st: Hoopla BBQ, Full Bar, Silent Auction and Music. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. Music by John Michael from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. and Retrospect from 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Located at the Carmel Valley Trail and Saddle Club located at the located at the East End of Garza Road. Cost is $30 for the general public and $10 pre-teens Saturday, Aug 1st 8 AM - Pancake Breakfast CVCYC 9 AM - Classic Car Show 10 AM - 6 PM Park Activities including food and craft vendors and kids activities 10 AM - 6 PM Free Concerts Fiesta - Sunday, Aug 2nd 7:30 - Mountain Run Garland Park 8 AM - Pancake Breakfast CVYC 10 AM - 5 PM Park Activities 10 AM - 5 PM Free Concerts 12 Noon - Doggie Show 5 PM - Raffle Grand Prize 2015 FIESTA DAYS ON THE GREEN CARMEL VALLEY COMMUNITY PARK SATURDAY AUGUST 1st - DAYS ON THE GREEN DAY #1 - FREE ADMISSION 10:00-12:00 Local Youth Performers 12:30-2:30 Stu Hayden Blues Band 3:00-6:00 Valley Soul SUNDAY AUGUST 2nd - DAYS ON THE GREEN DAY #2 - FREE ADMISSION 10:00-12:00 Joe Lucido 12:30-2:30 Bryan Diamond 3:00-5:00 Tom Faia and the Juice Come and enjoy the warm sun, green grass and blue sky at the Carmel Valley Community Park. Bring the whole family, there will be games, arts & crafts, food booths and the Kiwanis bar. Saturday features a classic car show and Sunday a doggy show. At 5pm on Sunday a trip to Hawaii will be raffled off to the lucky $1 ticket purchaser (Do not need to be present to win). Events will take place on Ford Road and Carmel Valley Road behind Village Green Complex. Tickets are available for purchase from any Carmel Valley Kiwanian; Chevron, Carmel Valley Business Service or at the door. The event sells out every year! The Fiesta has allowed the Kiwanis to award close to $250,000 in high school scholarships over the years, helping 252 students come closer to their career goals, said Parkins. Scholarships this year were distributed to 19 graduating seniors from Carmel Valley who attend public and private high schools in the area. The FIESTA is a Carmel Valley Kiwanis Foundation Event.
