e3. Unite Combines Multiple 3G/4G SIMS into one Connection

LAUDERDALE, Fla. - July 20, 2015 - PRLog -- e3 Systems, one of the world’s leading multi-broadband communications providers for the mega yacht industry, has just announced the launch of e3.Unite for the US and other global markets.  e3.Unite is a complete system using a range of routers that can combine from three to eighteen 3G, 3G+, 4G LTE connections and even local WiFi into one large connection, with a breakout to the internet through their London data center.

e3.Unite is designed to provide close to 100% connectivity. By combining a number of land based connections from different service providers, ranging from 3G, 3G+, 4G and Wi-Fi into one big data pipe means there is a much smaller chance of ever being disconnected.  The solution is simple – by adding a wide variety of connections as the yacht moves, the signal will increase or decrease, depending on the number of antennas in view on the coast line.  Therefore by using a variety of providers, you are guaranteed at least one strong signal to support the yacht’s requirements.

When using the e3.Unite system together with satellite services, then 100% connectivity is achievable. This is the key feature of e3’s ultimate communications system HYBRID.

e3.Unite uses Viprinet hardware that is connected to the e3 Systems data center in London which provides data encryption with advanced security standards.  Regardless whether clients choose to use their own SIM cards from any country or e3 cellular services, all connections to the Internet are via fiber from the data center in London, making all connections consistent and reliable. The resultant service has a UK IP address, so all accessed services are in English which is useful for Apple, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sky Broadband and Sky Go.

The range or distance offshore that the service can reach can be increased by using a signal booster or antenna combiner.

e3 Systems airtime services provide a portfolio of cellular services throughout the USA and Canada, Caribbean and Europe and have partnered with major providers including T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, SFR, Monaco Telecom and Telefonica.  The services from these providers have been specified by e3 to suit the demands of the yacht market with, for example, monthly data allowances that are much larger than offered with their standard services and recently e3 have launched roaming free data SIMs across eleven countries including New Zealand, Australia and South Africa from Vodafone.

e3.Unite Performance, the entry level service, includes a standard cellular modem with a three SIM configuration with up to a 50Mbps data connection. The e3.Unite Performance set up is easy with a quick integration to the existing network.  For a more advanced and larger bandwidth, e3 Systems recommend e3.Unite Performance Max.  e3 Performance Max can be expanded from 3 up to 18 SIMS, with a bandwidth of 100Mbps or more.
