Promoters to Steer Pricol after CEO Retires

COIMBATORE, India - July 16, 2015 - PRLog -- Promotors of Pricol family takes the management in charge after the retirement of CEO, K U Subbiah. Managing director of the Pricol Mr Vikram Mohan and Chairman of Pricol Mr Vijay Mohan will take the top management control.

Mr Vikram Mohan said “The Company will not hire new CEO after the exit of Subbiah. Mr Subbiah came on a three-year contract and he had retired at the end of the contract. CSO Diwakar Belvadi is moving to Bangalore for family reasons. CPO Sathyanarayana is taking a year's sabbatical and Gandhimathinathan is on his way out.”

Pricol, which closed down FY 2014-15 with revenues of Rs 900 crore, decided to make effective management by engaging moguls from the market between April and September 2012. It reportedly engaged global management consulting firm McKinsey for the process.

Mr Vijay Mohan is on the active role who takes care of operations, manufacturing, R&D and engineering. Old executives have been recalled or hired. Mr K Udaykumar is now back as an advisor, who was the president of the company and retired.
