Nick Tangorra Band Announce August 2015 Tour As Part Of The OMG Music Fest

NEW YORK - July 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Nick Tangorra Band announced their August 2015 tour as part of the OMG Music Fest, alongside Jonas Marias, Dylan Holland, Reed Deming, and Gavin Becker. They will be hitting 9 cities in the northeast, starting in New Haven, Connecticut on Friday, August 7, 2015, with stops in New York, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and additional cities.

The band shares “We are so excited for this tour! We can't wait to meet our fans along the road and finally give them the show they've been waiting for. It's going to be a series of good times and unforgettable memories.”

The band will be performing songs off their new EP “One Step Closer,” that was released on Tuesday June 23, 2015, and features their single, “I Want You” and five additional tracks, including “Damage Done,” “Maryanne” and more.  The EP peaked at number 19 on the iTunes Pop Charts the day it was released.

On the touring front, Nick Tangorra Band performed at WBLI Summer Jam on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater, alongside Nick Jonas, Charlie XCX, Flo Rida, Tove Lo, Echosmith, Carly Rae Jepsen, R5, and more. They have also been a part of tours such as MAGCON, Digifest, Playlist Live, and Runaround, sharing the stage with Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony, and Meghan Trainor, to name a few.  On Thursday July 9, the Nick Tangorra Band was invited to be the main support to Shawn Mendes, in front of 10,000 fans at Six Flags, New Jersey.

Founded in 2012 on Long Island, Nick Tangorra Band is made up of Nick Tangorra (vocals), Rafe Tangorra (drums/musical director), and Will Ahrens (guitar). The band also lends their support to Rock Out Autism, an organization founded by Rafe.  Rock Out Autism is a humanitarian benefit that raises money for the Fay J. Lindner Center which offers Autism services throughout Long Island.
