Pika Energy to Host DWEA Regional Event at Maine Headquarters

SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine - July 14, 2015 - PRLog -- Pika Energy will host the Distributed Wind Energy Association (DWEA) for a regional meet-up at Pika’s headquarters in Westbrook, Maine, Thursday, July 16 at 3:30PM ET.

The event will provide firsthand access to the manufacturing facility of the Pika’s wind turbines, hybrid inverters, and battery charge controllers, while connecting industry influencers and facilitating open discussions about the small wind industry.

“The distributed wind industry is a close group of mainly small businesses that work together on federal, state, and local market issues,” said Jennifer Jenkins, executive director of DWEA. “Regional meet-ups like this are important for our industry to connect, not only with their colleagues, but with state and federal decision makers and other champions in the region. Getting the opportunity to tour a manufacturing plant really shows the brilliance of distributed wind technology, but also highlights the jobs that are being created for our country.”
