200 Runners in Tampa Bay Participating in 5K Run/Walk to Benefit Victims of Nepal Earthquake

TAMPA, Fla. - July 13, 2015 - PRLog -- More than 200 runners will be participating in a 5K Run/Walk on July 18, 2015, at Al Lopez Park in Tampa. The 5K Run/Walk will start at 7:30 a.m., and is geared to raise funds for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25, 2015.

FACTS:          The 5K Run/Walk for Nepal is jointly hosted by Tampa Bay Nepalese Community and the United Florida Nepalese Association – Florida Association of Nepalese Societies. Information on Nepal Earthquake

On April 25, 2015, Nepal experienced an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. The magnitude 7.8 earthquake and several subsequent aftershocks that struck and continue to strike Nepal have left behind a devastating trail of destruction. To date, over 8,700 lives have perished with thousands more injured and/or rendered homeless.
