Follow on Google News | SAFE Shelter and Kicklighter Presented Donation From Coastal Corvette AssociationBy: Carriage Trade PR This year, SAFE Shelter Center for Domestic Violence Services is celebrating their 35th anniversary in assisting victims of domestic violence in the greater Savannah area. Branch said, “This donation will support our array of comprehensive services for victims at the shelter, those who have exited the shelter and for those who do not require shelter but need legal advocacy.” The club raised the money through a car show in Bluffton, SC. Goodling said, “My wife had come across SAFE Shelter years ago and mentioned to me that they needed more recognition in the community. After Charlotte passed away and our club was looking for a group to give donations to, I explained her point that battered women and families who have faced abusive situations, don’t get enough support in Savannah. The Corvette Club felt that this would be one of the best places we could make a donation.” ABOUT THE COASTAL CORVETTE ASSOCIATION The Coastal Corvette Association is a group of Corvette Enthusiasts located in Southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina. Founded on March 31st of 1993, six friends assembled in a parking lot to establish one of the most enjoyable clubs in Savannah. The idea in forming the organization was to provide an avenue where members could plan events and keep each other updated on upcoming shows and events. The purpose of the club is to have fun and learn about the great American sportscar. Cars in the club range from the 1950’s up to the most current models and many of our members cars have been featured in numerous shows around the country.
