Sandra 51, from Wolston received such a great response to her 29 letters that she decided to turn them into a book: Peachey Letters. Intensely personal and beautifully crafted, it helps readers explore their lives as well as discovering more about Sandra’s. The book includes Sandra's simple philosophies and learnt wisdom in a gentle way. Sandra found the writing process cathartic. She discovered that as well as helping her find her voice, writing the letters helped her coach herself. She has also found that others have been inspired to write their own letters after reading hers. Sandra's Peachey Letters blog (www.peacheyletters.co.uk) has had over 30,000 hits in 127 countries. The book is avaiolable to buy via Amazon. Sandra says: 'I want to entertain, yet also encourage people to resolve issues in their own lives and live beyond the past and embrace their future. I want to show people that they can follow the same letter writing process as I have to reconcile, heal, and celebrate their lives.’ On learning about her placing in the International Awards, Sandra who is also a HR Consultant and Life Work Coach says: “over two years after publishing my book, I was surprised and delighted for it to have been acknowledged in this way and to be given such amazing international recognition. It is a humbling experience to keep receiving positive feedback from readers of the blog and book telling me how it has touched a chord for them. My purpose in writing the book was to make a difference and my letters cover such a variety of life’s issues - some are serious, some are daft and so many people find something to connect to. I’m often told that many of the letters make people cry – especially the letter to my father and that other letters make them laugh. I am just happy that my book to continues to make a difference.’ Sandra is now working on several other book projects, including both fiction and non fiction, alongside her business LifeWork Consultancy and Coaching.
