Centric RF Announces SMP Adapters

July 11, 2015 - PRLog -- Centric RF has introduced a line of SMP Microwave / RF adapters. Featured are smp to sma adapters, smp to smp adapters, sma to smp adapters with flanges, smp to sma adapters in bulkhead configurations. These microwave / rf coaxial adapters are commonly used in applications requiring broad bandwidth and extremely small size. An sma to smp adapter is importane in test labs and as an interface between these two connector series.

Operating to 27ghz with a max vswr of 1.2 and a typical vswr of 1.1, these coaxial adapters serve as the interface between fiber optic systems, the test world, and systems with extremely high density packaging requirements. . Various options are available including flange, bulkhead, and numerous détente configurations such as smooth bore, limited detente, and full detente.

Future products will include expanded flange and detente options. Soon to be release will be mini smp to sma adapters. SMP adapters are compatible with gpo interfaces.
