Sigma-Aldrich President & CEO Chairs Country's Largest B2B Conference Convened by Asian Americans

WASHINGTON - July 9, 2015 - PRLog -- Rakesh Sachdev, the President & CEO of the global life science and high technology company Sigma-Aldrich, served as Conference Chair of the 30th Pearl Anniversary & CelebrAsian Procurement Conference – the country’s largest business-to-business event convened by Asian Americans to connect with large, medium and small enterprises – on June 3-5, 2015 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

CelebrAsian, the flagship annual national event of the US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce Education Foundation (USPAACC), opened its doors to the largest gathering of Asian American suppliers and entrepreneurs representing a wide array of industries. They came in full force from all over the country to connect with buyers and key decision-makers from Fortune powerhouses, government agencies, large non-profits, and the small/minority business community.

In all, 880 Conference participants gathered for 3 days under one roof, 411 Asian American suppliers came from all over the country to connect with 91 Fortune powerhouses, 34 Government Agencies and 14 Media partners.

500 pre-scheduled one-on-one business matchmaking meetings were held between suppliers and buyers, about 50 commodities that major corporations and government agencies will purchase in the coming 18-24 months.
