Major new mental health play launches Kickstarter campaign

HACKNEY, U.K. - July 9, 2015 - PRLog -- London theatre company CUCKOO BANG have just launched a Kickstarter campaign for their major new mental health play IN MY HEAD.

Written by comedian, actor and playwright CHRIS MAYO, the play is a fast paced exploration of mental health in the modern world. Mixing verbatim and fictional text with comedy, drama, music and movement, IN MY HEAD is a bold, loud, funny, angry, touching and honest portrayal of those who suffer, those who help and those who fail to notice.

Debuting at THE PROUD ARCHIVIST in Hackney, London from the 9th - 14th November 2015, the play hurtles through twenty-two scenes, performed by six actors playing over 40 characters.

The Kickstarter campaign which launched this week has already attracted nearly £1000 of donations out of the minimum £3000 target which needs to be raised by the 2nd August for the production to go ahead.

The november performances will be the start of a year long outing for the show which is currently booking in a nationwide UK tour for 2016.
